Gingko, dyed anigre and cherry veneer

      I swapped some wood with a new friend (Gary Barsomian) who graced me with a beautiful piece of Ginko that  

      produced some nice pieces. The wood was lighter than I expected it to be and at the final sanding stage a  

      hairline crack opened up at a knot, ruined my afternoon. It's still a pretty piece too nice to go in the kindling  

      box, weighs in at a whopping 1.2 ounces.

Sorry, this piece has sold. I can probably recreate the shape and size within reason (hopefully minus the knot crack) still have more of the wood to work up another one similar to this. If you're interested I'll get interested too; please get in touch by email:
